Wednesday, August 22, 2007 17 Weeks 5 Days Adjusted age: 5 Days 7 lbs 2 oz I went to see my pediatrician, Dr. K today. He is pleased with my weight gain, and I don't think he has any major concerns at this time. We will do a lot of checking in the next few years to make sure I am where I should be. So far, so good. |

Friday, August 17, 2007 17 Weeks Old Today is the day I was due. As you know, I came a little early. I am doing great at home. |

Thursday, August 16, 2007 16 Weeks 6 Days Today was my first full day with just me and my parents. I slept a lot, but also had some time for some fun. |

Wednesday, August 15, 2007 16 Weeks 5 Days 6 lbs. 11 oz. Today I saw my Pediatrician for the first time. I call him Dr. K. He is very nice. Mommy and Daddy also like him. Dr. K will be seeing me once a week for a while, just to make sure everything is going well. I enjoyed my first day home, and my car ride to see Dr. K. I am doing well. I hope to be off oxygen within a few months. I'll need to work hard to get there, but I'll try. |

Tuesday, August 14, 2007 16 Weeks 4 Days Today I went home! I slept for most of the car ride. I am doing very good with my Mommy and Daddy. 116 Days in the NICU |

Monday, August 13, 2007 16 Weeks 3 Days 6 lbs 9 oz. My parents are staying with me in the hospital again tonight. We go home in the morning. When I am sleepy, I sometimes eat better on my side. |

Sunday, August 12, 2007 16 Weeks 2 Days 6 lbs 6 oz 2 Days until I go home! I've been in the hospital for 115 days. My parents are staying overnight with me tonight and tomorrow. We have our own room. Everyone wants to make sure my going home oxygen, and monitors are working correctly. |

Saturday, August 11, 2007 16 Weeks 1 Day 6 lbs 5 oz I'm doing well. I am still planning to go home on Tuesday. |

Friday, August 10, 2007 16 Weeks 6 lbs 3 oz I am doing very good and they plan to send me home on Tuesday. Mommy and Daddy have been trained on how to work my Oxygen and my Apnea monitor. |

Tuesday, August 7, 2007 15 Weeks 4 Days My Doctor said, if I keep doing as well as I am now, I should get to go home next week. I will go home with oxygen, and will be on oxygen until my lungs develop a little more. |

Monday, August 6, 2007 15 Weeks 3 Days 6 lbs 1 oz I am now getting fed every 4 hours or when I am hungry. I am also allowed to eat as much as I want. ( I was on 45 ml every 3 hours.) |
